The Palma International Boat Show organization initially decided to postpone the nautical fair from April 29 to June 4, 2020, in accordance with the recommendations made by the Department of Health and Consumption to postpone all possible events in which there are concentrations of people as a measure to prevent the possible spread of the coronavirus. Finally, the Palma International Boat Show organization has decided to cancel the 2020 edition, scheduled between June 4 and 7 at the Moll Vell in Palma, considering that the nautical fair could not be held with optimal safety conditions for both exhibitors as well as visitors and for responsibility with the nautical sector in the face of the situation caused by COVID-19 and the state of alarm.
In addition, it has been decided to return the money paid by exhibitors to reserve space since this will increase the liquidity of these companies.
From now on, work will begin on the next edition of the fair to be held in 2021, on the bridge of May, which is its usual date as one of the fairs at the beginning of the opening of the nautical season.
